I must start this post with a warning. In fact, two warnings. Firstly, if you are on any kind of book ban/budget/restriction then look away now for your own sanity because there are stacks and stacks of incredible books out this April. Secondly, prepare for me to get very excited/hyper/overwhelmed. You have been warned. Here’s what April has in store…
Let’s start at the beginning – 1st April. You’d be a fool not to download Love at First Flight by debut author Tess Woods today. Then grab copies of The Royal We by Heather Cocks and Jessica Morgan and The Wedding Tree Cake (in paperback) by Michelle Hudson which are both out on the 7th April, as is Lost by Elle Field (Book #2 in the Arielle Lockley Series). If you’re into your Young Adult then The Queen of Bright and Shiny Things by Ann Aguirre is also released on this date and is one I’m really looking forward to.
Then a glorious date, the 9th April rolls rounds which sees the release of some absolute stunners! Are you ready? *clears throat* We have The Vintage Guide to Love and Romance by Kirsty Greenwood, The Day We Disappeared by Lucy Robinson AND That Girl From Nowhere by Dorothy Koomson. Three of my favourite authors; surely this should be some kind of national holiday??
Then whizzing onto our e-readers on the 16th April is The Vintage Cinema Club by Jane Linfoot…And then we reach the 23rd. This brings the release of All I Know Now by YouTube sensation Carrie Hope Fletcher, Letters to the Lost by Iona Grey, The Lie by C.L Taylor, The Doris Day Vintage Film Club by Fiona Harper, The Robot in the Garden by Deborah Install, The Love Shack by Jane Costello, A Good Catch by Fern Britton and Wild and Free by Wendy Holden.
Then there’s One Small Act of Kindness by Lucy Dillon which is out the on 24th and Million Dollar Question by Ellie Campbell which is out on the 25th.
April’s great, we have Easter, chocolate, two extra days off work, lighter nights and an incredible amount of exciting book releases to top it all off with.
