What’s New: July 2015

July has officially arrived and it seems to have brought something of a heat wave with it! However, it’s not just the sunshine that this month is bringing us – but also yet another pile of fabulous books are set to fly onto our bookshelves and e-readers this month, too. When it’s hot there really is nothing better than sitting in the shade with a strawberry Ribena and a good book and it looks as though we have plenty to choose from. Here’s my pick of the best…

July kicks off with some rip roaring releases in the shape of The Great Village Show by Alexandra Brown, Perfect Daughter by Amanda Prowse, Pippa’s Cornish Dream by Debbie Johnson and The Girls by Lisa Jewell which are all out on the 2nd. Wow, wow and more wow. Four amazing authors all in one sentence. However, the 2nd July should officially be classed as one very bookish day, as Sarah Morgan also releases Some Kind of Wonderful, Sheila O’Flanagan bring us My Mother’s Secret and Josephine Moon releases The Chocolate Apothecary on this date too! As if that wasn’t enough – Abby Clements also makes an appearance with The Heavenly Italian Ice Cream Shop – now tell me…Is there a more perfectly titled summer novel than that!?  *Drools*
The fabulous Sue Watson makes a very welcome return (today!) with her new novel, Summer Flings and Dancing Dreams, swiftly followed by Karen Aldous with The Riviera and Fairytale Beginnings by Holly Martin on the 10th and then A Proper Family Adventure by Chrissie Manby and The Cherry Tree Cafe by Heidi Swain which are both released on the 16th July. Then the fantastic Sophie Hart is back on the 17th with her brilliant sounding novel The Girls Guide to Getting Hitched.
Another novel I’m especially looking forward to is The SW19 Club by Nicola May which is coming our way on the 19th July.
Then before you’ve even had time to catch your breath, Alexandra Potter makes a very welcome return with Love from Paris on the 30th, as does Paige Toon with I Knew You Were Trouble and last but not least Kat French with The Piano Man Project.
