If you love romance as much as me then this weekend’s virtual romance festival held by HarperCollins & Harlequin Mills & Boon is THE place to be this Saturday & Sunday.
The first romance festival was held last June & it was a massive success (I was there! ‘Virtually’ of course!) For those of you who haven’t experienced the festival before, there are a programme of events on Twitter, Facebook and Google Hangouts. Saturday is a day primarily for authors (offering professional advice & support to new and established authors) and Sunday is for the romance fans (offering the latest news and insights into our favourite books and authors) Here’s just a snippet of what you can expect…
♥Facebook chat for aspiring authors with Jill Mansell
♥A Woman of Substance hour
♥Discussion on the rise of the billionaire hero
♥How authors can work with book bloggers
♥Valentine’s Day dating hits and misses
♥Balancing real life and writing life
And much, much more.
Some of my favourite authors are taking part, including Jill Mansell, Katie Fforde, Anouska Knight and Tiffany Reiss. They will be involved in lots of discussions, interviews and blog appearances.
I think this is a absolutely brilliant event for aspiring authors and romance fans alike. The action kicks off today at 2:00pm.
I love how this event is FREE and entirely virtual, meaning it doesn’t matter if you have no money and it doesn’t matter where abouts in the world you are; the only requirements are a love of romance. I’m also really looking forward to possibly discovering a few new romance authors…(because my TBR list really needs expanding! NOT!)

‘See’ you there!
